Apparently I’m a little behind the times when it comes to this post, but Times Magazine is criticizing Google.com’s doodle image from Valentines Day. Google uploads doodle images in place of their regular google image just to have fun, liven things up a bit.

Apparently Times Magazine has a problem reading between the lines when it comes to the simple stuff. Their beef with Google was that they could not properly see an “L” in Google, and were calling it “googe”. Are you kidding me? Is this your first trip to google.com on the holidays?

Twelve of the twenty doodles from January 1, 2006 – February 15, 2006 do not have clear, pronounced, letters in the image. Why exclaim “What Was Google Thinking?” when you’re the only one that doesn’t get it?

One Response to ““What Was Google Thinking?”, You’re Kidding Right?!”

  1. There’s more to a logo than just spelling out a company’s name. Most of the Google letters are intact with the same easily recognizable colors and typeface.

It must have been a slow week. ;)
